The gardening supplier is a family-owned business specializing in gardening and landscaping supplies in Germany. They offer a wide range of products including soil, mulch, stones, and tools for both professional landscapers and amateur gardeners. Their product line caters to different price ranges, from basic to high-end products.


Goals:
Aim was to expand the business within the domestic market in order to increase sales/revenue and increase market dominance on long term. Additional secondary goal was keeping the cost per acqusition below 14$ by any chance.
Challenges:
There were big names in the game already but our client was fierce enough to challenge them. Togehter we became aware that its nothing low of a leap of faith. But both Straight Up and the client , were convinced that with the right strategy across platforms we would be able to claim our share in the market.


Actions:
To tackle these challenges, we at Straight Up took several actions. Beginning by researching the target markets to identify the needs and preferences of the customers. Then revamped their website to optimize towards user experience. They also invested in search engine optimization (SEO) to improve their search engine rankings and drive more traffic to their website. In addition, we developed a marketing campaign that included targeted ads on social media as well as email marketing.
Results:
We achieved our clients goals of increasing revenue by 18%. The company’s revenue increased significantly due to the combined efforts of improving their online marketing strategies and now strongly competing with big names in the market. Their website traffic increased by 42%, and their conversion rate improved to a healthy 4.2% average. Additionally, their CPA (Cost-Per-Acquisition) decreased to $20 average, indicating that our combined efforts were cost-effective and generating a positive ROI.
